Positive Impact of Coding4Employment In Our societies.
The African Development Bank (AfDB), together with the Rockefeller Foundation, Microsoft ,Facebook and MacAnderson institute of technology has launched the Coding for Employment (CfE) program which aims to prepare African youth for the future jobs by providing them with a demand-driven Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills alongside entrepreneurship and employability training.“Coding for Employment accelerates investments in Africa’s most valuable resource – its young women and men. That’s why the program is aim to help every young African reach their full potential.The program will help to bridge the gap between the digital hiring of new employers and the skills of Africa’s youth,” Mamadou Biteye,
"Children need to be literate in technology throughout their education, developing ideas, learning new methods and putting them to the test. Even non-IT based jobs require a basic understanding of the digital landscape. There has been a shift in the past decade as to what a ‘digital job’ is, and relatively new professions, including SEO specialists and data analysts, now fall under this remit. It’s our role to prepare young people for the new economy, with a highly desirable skill set that stands the next generation in good stead.” ~Flippo yacob
However CEO’s of numerous global companies began as coding developers such as Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Paul Allen and Satya Nadella among others started out coding and then progressed with business development. A coding background can be a great advantage when it comes to making decisions about which technologies to use in business especially Digital marketing Aspect of the program which nurtured participants on how face future job which is drive by computer literacy.
We all have ideas on how to make life improvements - whether it’s within our personal lives, our work environment, or from a global standpoint. More often than not, we lack the technological tools to accurately transform those ideas into a tangible project that can be executed but with this training I believe they can make the difference indeed.
Learning to code provides us with the ability to personally develop the projects that will match our vision, without having it lost in translation as we communicate through content writing to our audiance.
A lot of our ideas are wild dreams that aren’t acted upon because we don’t understand the limitations or capabilities of the tools available to us. Understanding how to be a content writer or develop a program goes a long way towards achieving those dreams.
Thus,Learning to code positively affects all areas of our life and give us a newfound sense of energy to really pursue the goals we want in life_A lot of people think that this positive impact is limited to improving our technological skills and ability to use a computer, but it’s so much more than that. It changes our whole life, from lifestyle, through social life, to career.
